Angel Tree Fundraiser Oct. 17 – S’mores, Raku, Music, Specials & More

The evening of Saturday, October 17 is going to be a hot one at Benetti’s. Local organizers, including the Raytown Vineyard Church, are hosting a fundraising and awareness event for Angel Tree, an organization that uses the holiday season to support children in families where a parent is incarcerated.
Here’s what will warm you and your heart from 6-9 p.m.:
- Several HOT Firepits for cooking up some delicious s’mores.
- A HOT mobile Raku pottery kiln for firing a pot glazed by you.
- Live HOT music by Brennan Hollis and My Science Fiction Twin.
- HOT drink specials with all proceeds from drip coffee and our special Wassail during the event going to Angel Tree.

With the exception of Joe, we wouldn’t often be confused with a group of running enthusiasts. However, we do love serving our fresh-roasted coffee to runners who are supporting great causes.
We’ll be serving coffee at two events in October that we want to bring to your attention:
KCBT’s College Class MARS 5K, October 10
Raytown Educational Foundation’s Run For Excellence, October 17
In addition to these events, Benetti’s continues to be a supporter of Jackson County Girls on the Run.
If you are a runner, you can count on these groups to provide you with a great 5K experience.
